About
The human behind the goblin
Hi! I'm 3DGoblinDev (or Arturo, depending on how close we are to playing a board game together). I studied Computer Engineering and Mathematics mainly because I wanted to leave my hometown and couldn't quite bring myself to stop doing maths. I always knew I was going to make games. The degree was a detour I (think) don't regret.
What I love is design. The medium doesn't matter much to me. A board game, a videogame, a TTRPG: if there's a system doing something interesting, I'm in. My biggest inspirations aren't only other games. Comics, musicals, animated series like Adenture Time or Steven Universe, tabletop RPGs, etc. Anything that builds a world with rules and then does something surprising with them. I'm also into with philosophy. It's cool to stop and think about things.
Outside of screens I play jugger, go to the gym, and whenever I can I go out to the countryside to look at bugs and decompress. It sounds like nothing but it's where a lot of ideas actually happen.
I want to make games for a living because it's what I'm good at and it's what I want to spend my time on. That's about as honest as I can put it.
Stuff I'd recommend to anyone who makes games, watches musicals, or just wants cool stuff.
Whether you want to hire me, commission a game, or just talk about stuff. My inbox is open.
